Using Intentlock beyond the free limits requires a license. Removing or bypassing the license check is not permitted (Elastic License 2.0). The SDK packages you embed stay MIT.
What a license does not change
Every feature, every install
Plans, policies, holds, the approval inbox and the audit log are the same with or without a license.
Security never depends on the license
A missing, invalid or expired key only changes limits. Enforcement, holds and the audit log keep running, and nobody is locked out.
Checked offline
The key is a signed file verified on your server. Nothing phones home, so installs without internet access work.
From checkout to a licensed install

Buy
Choose your seats above (5 or more). A seat is an active user; agents are unlimited.

Get the key by email
The license key arrives as text and as an intentlock.license file. Renewals and seat changes send a new key; the old one works until its date.
- 03
Apply it
An admin pastes it on the inbox's License page, or mounts the file and sets LICENSE_FILE. The limits lift at once.
